The Aircraft Maintenance Programs (Specialist) course develops the expertise required to manage and control maintenance tasks within an approved Aircraft Maintenance Program (AMP).
Participants learn how maintenance requirements originate, how operators structure maintenance programs, and how maintenance tasks are planned, controlled, and optimized through reliability monitoring and task effectiveness analysis.
The course integrates practical insights from airlines and maintenance organizations, builds on concepts from the Aircraft Maintenance Programs publication (Springer), and aligns with the Aircraft Maintenance Programs Body of Knowledge (AMP-BOK).
Note: Course content is consistent with ICAO Standards and Recommended Practices (SARPs) for continuing airworthiness and related regulatory frameworks, including EASA and FAA.
